Isabella Cottage is in Ryton, near the Tyne Riverside Country Park. It's a row cottage built in 1889 for miners. It's attached on one side to my house, but you have your own front door and the garden is private.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
The country park is right next to the cottage. It's good for walks or a run along the river. There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is a mile.
You're about half an hour's drive from a lot of places. Newcastle city centre is 20 minutes. The coast, like Tynemouth or Whitley Bay, is about 25 minutes. For a proper beach day, you'd drive up into Northumberland, which might take 45 minutes to an hour.
Inland, you can get to Hadrian's Wall in under half an hour. The Northumberland National Park is about the same. The traffic depending.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can park on the drive.
