North Farm Bungalow is a detached bungalow set back from a small lane in Horsley. The garden is big and private, with a decent view over the fields.
It sleeps four in two good-sized bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The local pub is about a three-minute walk up the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away in Stocksfield, so you'll want to drive for a proper shop.
You're right on the edge of the village. The bus stop is a short walk if you need it, with buses to Hexham and Newcastle.
For walking, you can get straight onto the paths for Hadrian's Wall from the door. Corbridge is a few minutes' drive and has nice pubs and little shops. Hexham is about 12 miles, with the abbey and a market. Newcastle city centre is roughly 11 miles away if you want that.
The Northumberland coast, with all the castles and beaches, is within about half an hour's drive. Kielder Forest and the Dark Sky Park is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes, but it's a straightforward drive.
In terms of what's here: there's a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog.
