The Water Castle Newton Hall

The Water Castle is an old water tower we've done up. It's a bungalow, detached, out in the fields near Newton. It looks unusual from the outside, but inside it's quiet and a bit sparse, more modern than you'd think. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. Two bathrooms, both with showers. That's handy.

You're out in the country here. There's a pub in Newton village, about three miles away. They do good food. The nearest shop is in Corbridge, five miles. You'll need a car.

For things to do, Corbridge is a nice little village to poke around. Hexham is close, maybe ten minutes. The Abbey is worth a look. Hadrian's Wall is right on your doorstep. You can walk sections of it from a few different car parks nearby.

If you fancy the coast, it's about fifty minutes in the car. The beaches up there are huge and often empty. Bamburgh Castle is spectacular. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are a big day out. You could do both in a day if you start early.

Stuff that's here: proper parking right outside, an electric car charger, a washing machine, a dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry. The garden is a patio area with some furniture.
