Chareside Cottage
Chareside Cottage is on Main Street in Corbridge. It's a two-up two-down cottage from the 1800s. You're right in the village.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've had it renovated but kept the old bits we liked, like the fireplace and the wooden floors.
The main bedroom has a door that leads out to a small verandah. It looks out over the back and you can see the River Tyne from it. It's just a little balcony, but it's nice when the sun's out.
Corbridge itself is good. There's a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. Several places to eat, literally just down the street. You can walk down to the old bridge by the river from here.
You're in the middle of Hadrian's Wall country. Housesteads Roman Fort and Vindolanda are a short drive away. Hexham is three miles west if you need a bigger town.
For facilities, it has a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, there's WiFi and a TV. There's a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Sorry, no pets.
