The Gingang is a small cottage attached to our house, just outside Hexham. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
You've got your own entrance and a little patio garden out the front. It looks out over fields. The bedroom is upstairs. It's a decent size and has an en-suite shower room.
Hexham town centre is about a mile away, a 20-minute walk. There's a good choice of pubs and restaurants there. The Abbey is worth a look. Hexham Racecourse is just down the road.
You're in a good spot for Roman history. Hadrian's Wall is a short drive away. I'd recommend Housesteads Fort or Vindolanda if you want to explore it properly.
Corbridge is about ten minutes by car. Nice village, good for a wander and a coffee by the river.
For walking, you're right next to the Northumberland National Park. The Dark Sky Park is part of it, so on a clear night you get great stars. No streetlights out here.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
