The Tiny Chapel is near Hexham in Northumberland. It's a converted chapel from the 1800s. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms are ensuite. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order.
It's a small building, as the name suggests. The ceiling is high and vaulted with old beams. The main windows are the original arched ones. The stairs are a feature, but they are quite steep, just so you know.
Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining table, and sitting area with a wood burner. There's a Smart TV and speakers in the ceiling. The back doors open onto a stone patio. There's a hot tub out there and a view over the fields.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king size bed and a freestanding bath in the room. The second bedroom has two singles. Both have their own shower rooms.
Hexham is a ten minute walk. It's a proper market town with shops, pubs, and places to eat. The abbey is worth a look.
You're well placed for getting out. Hadrian's Wall is a short drive away. The Northumberland National Park is to the north. The coast, with all the castles like Bamburgh, is under an hour's drive. Newcastle is about half an hour east if you need a city trip.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
