Dilston Cottage is next to our farmhouse on the edge of Dilston. It's an annexe we've done up. It's attached, but you have your own door and a private, enclosed garden.
It sleeps four. There's one bedroom upstairs with a double and two singles. One bathroom upstairs too. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect.
The kitchen has those big velux windows, so it's bright in there, even on a grey day. It's all new inside.
You're right in the countryside here, but Corbridge village is only a mile down the lane. You can walk it if you don't mind the hill coming back. Corbridge has good shops, a couple of butchers, cafes, and several pubs. The Dyvels is a solid choice.
Hexham is about three miles away. It's a proper market town with a big abbey. For Roman history, you're close to Corbridge Roman Town and, of course, Hadrian's Wall. A lot of it is under the care of English Heritage or the National Trust.

Facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. The garden is yours. We allow one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included.
