Aydon Cottage is in the hamlet of Aydon, just outside Corbridge. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. You get the front garden and a bigger lawn out the back. The back looks over fields.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable. Not fancy. The living room has a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler nights.
The garden gets a lot of birds. You can walk across the fields to Aydon Castle, which is an English Heritage site, in about fifteen minutes. Corbridge is two miles away for shops, pubs, and places to eat.
For days out, Hexham is about ten minutes by car. Hadrian's Wall is maybe twenty minutes away. The coast, like Alnmouth or Craster, is about half an hour's drive. Newcastle city centre is roughly twenty-five minutes if you need something bigger.
In terms of what's there: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. A cot and highchair are available. You can bring up to two dogs. All the bedding is included.
