Rose Cottage is in Wooley, near Slaley. It's detached, in the grounds of our house. You get your own garden and it's private.
The cottage sleeps five. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable and well set up. It's light inside, with views over the fields.
The garden has a hot tub. There's fibre broadband if you need it. We have hens, so you might get some fresh eggs. You'll often see wildlife from the windows.
The local shop and pub are in Slaley village, about a mile away. They're both good.
You're right between the North Pennines and Hadrian's Wall country here. Both are a short drive. It's very good for walking. The Northumberland National Park isn't far. Hexham and Corbridge are about three miles away. They've got nice shops, places to eat, and the abbey.
The Northumberland coast, like Bamburgh and Holy Island, is about an hour's drive. Newcastle is less than half an hour away if you fancy the city. The quayside is good.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
