Rose Cottage is in Wooley, just outside of Hexham. It's detached, and sits in its own garden in our grounds. We live in the main house next door. The hens are ours, they wander about. You're welcome to any eggs they lay.
It sleeps five people in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burning stove, decent WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is yours to use and there's a hot tub. Parking is right there.
The stairs are a typical cottage style, so they're a bit steep. The bathroom is downstairs.
You're about a mile from Slaley village. There's a shop and a pub there. The pub does food.
You're right between a few big things here. Hexham and Corbridge are about three miles away. Good for shops, cafes, and a wander by the river. The North Pennines are one way, Hadrian's Wall is the other. Both are a short drive. The Northumberland National Park and Kielder are within half an hour or so.
The coast, with places like Bamburgh, is about an hour's drive. Newcastle city centre is less than 30 minutes away if you fancy that.
No pets, I'm afraid.
