It's called Low West. It's a stone house down a quiet lane about a mile outside Hexham. It's detached, and you've got your own south-facing garden. It looks over fields.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 3 Star, which is about right. It's comfortable, not luxurious. It's got everything you need.
The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. We accept two pets. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and a dishwasher. Everything else is what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Hexham is a ten minute drive, or a twenty minute walk if you're keen. It's a nice market town. Plenty of shops, pubs, and places to eat. There's a sports centre, fishing, and riding nearby if that's your thing. The golf course is a couple of miles away.
You're well placed here. The Northumberland National Park is on your doorstep for walks. Hadrian's Wall is right there, sites like Housesteads Fort are a short drive. Kielder Water is about half an hour away. If you want a city day, Newcastle is roughly 35 minutes by car. The Scottish borders are easy to get to from here.
