Brewers Cottage is in Ordley, Northumberland. It's a detached house on our grounds, but it's completely private. The land around it is open so you get nice views.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a shower room are on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms and they each have their own bathroom. All the beds are zip and link, so you can have them as twins or a double.
The main living space is open plan: kitchen, dining, and sitting area all together. There's a wood burning stove. The stairs are normal house stairs, not too steep.
You're about three miles from Hexham and Corbridge. Both have shops, supermarkets, pubs and places to eat. Hexham has a leisure centre with a pool. Corbridge is a nice village for a wander.
You're very close to Hadrian's Wall. You can drive to parts of it in minutes. For Roman forts, you've got Chesters, Vindolanda, and Housesteads all within a short drive. The Sill discovery centre is useful for planning walks. The Military Road is good for walking or cycling with big views.
Further out, you can get to Newcastle in about half an hour. The Metrocentre is there if you need it. Hexham Racecourse is only a couple of miles away if that's your thing.
The facilities are all there: parking, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, cot, highchair. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger.
