Dolly's Cottage

This is Dolly's Cottage in Ovington. It's a one-bedroom cottage, just for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The best thing about it is the view. The back patio looks out over the Tyne Valley. You can sit out there when the weather's good. Inside, there's a big living room with an inglenook fireplace and a wood burner for the evenings.

The cottage is on one level which is handy. There's a parking space right outside. Inside, you've got the basics: a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included.

Ovington is a quiet village. There's a restaurant literally a few steps away that does nice food. The village of Wylam is close by and has a good pub. There's fishing nearby, and a golf course within a short drive.

You're in a good spot for seeing things. Hadrian's Wall is about a 30 minute drive. So is the Beamish Open Air Museum. The National Trust property Cherryburn is nearby, along with Prudhoe Castle. The coast is about 15 miles away if you fancy a day at the beach.
