Stublick View is a cottage in Langley, Northumberland. It's on our small equestrian yard, so you might see the horses. It's a semi-detached place, attached to our house.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and a shower room upstairs. Downstairs is one open-plan room with a kitchen, living area, and a wood burner. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious.
The main thing is the view. It looks out over the countryside. You can see the Stublick chimney from the garden.
For a pint or a meal, the pub is about a mile's walk. The nearest proper shop is in Hexham, about seven miles away. Hexham's a good market town. It's got a big Abbey and the Old Gaol.
You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park here. Hadrian's Wall is very close. The Housesteads Roman Fort is about twelve miles away. So is Vindolanda. The Sill, which is the National Landscape Discovery Centre, is also nearby and worth a look.
Within half an hour you can drive to Corbridge or Haydon Bridge. Both have nice pubs and a few shops.
In terms of what's here: there's parking. The bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. The wood burner is there for you to use. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning to explore, the Visit Northumberland site is useful, and so is the National Trust for Northumbria page.
