Mill Close Cottage

Mill Close Cottage is in Holymoorside, near Chesterfield. It's a ground-floor cottage, which is handy. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One's a double, the other has bunk beds. There's one shower room.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main room is open plan, with a kitchen, dining table, and a sitting area with a wood burner. We supply the first lot of logs.

There's a separate outbuilding with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a freezer you can use. Outside, there's a patio garden right by a stream. You can hear the water running. It's a nice spot.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on the drive.

Holymoorside has two decent pubs within walking distance. For walks, you can pick up local footpaths from the village. The Peak District National Park is right on the doorstep. Well-known trails like the Monsal Trail or Tissington Trail are about a 20-minute drive. Chatsworth House and its grounds are about 15 minutes away.

Bakewell is about 20 minutes drive. Matlock Bath is similar, with the Heights of Abraham cable car. Chesterfield, with the crooked spire church, is about 10 minutes away. Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield is about half an hour if you need it.

Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, wifi, bedding and towels are included, all utilities are covered. There's a golf course nearby.
