Curlew Retreat
This is Curlew Retreat in Ellington. It's a new build, finished in 2024, so everything is modern and works properly. Got a 5 Star rating.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. One bedroom has its own shower room, and there's another family bathroom. The main room downstairs is open plan, with French doors out to the back. There's a separate kitchen. The garden is pebbled with some seating. It's enclosed.
You're about a mile from Druridge Bay, which is a big, quiet beach. The country park is right there too. The village has a shop and a pub that does food, both are a couple of minutes' walk.
In about twenty minutes you can drive to Amble for the harbour, or Morpeth for the shops. Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is ten minutes away, they've got a long promenade.
Further afield, Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh Castle are both under an hour's drive. Same for Holy Island and Seahouses.
Facilities-wise, it's got what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
