Hogarth Apartment By The Sea
Hogarth Apartment is a ground floor flat on the High Street in Newbiggin by the Sea. It sleeps three, with one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The flat is right on the main street, so you're close to the local shops and cafes. It's about a three minute walk down to the promenade and the sea. The beach is sandy and there's a long walk along the front. You can see a sculpture called The Couple out in the bay. People spot dolphins from here sometimes.
Newbiggin is a proper seaside town. There's an ice cream parlour on the front and you can hire surfboards in the village. The water is good for surfing.
If you want to explore, Morpeth is about a 15 minute drive. It's a nice market town with an old shopping arcade. Further along the coast, places like Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and Amble are all within half an hour. Amble has a working harbour. Heading north up the coast there are a lot of castles, like Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh.
Newcastle city centre is about a 30 minute drive, or you can get a bus from the stop nearby.
The flat has a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
