This is By The Sea, in Newbiggin. It's the village you see right on the coast, not far from Ashington.
The house sleeps four. Two upstairs bedrooms: one king size bed and one twin. One bathroom upstairs too, which has a bath with a shower over it. The stairs are normal, nothing tricky.
From the back door, you're two minutes from the promenade and the beach. It's a proper, working beach. There's a sculpture in the bay called The Couple. You can see it from the front. Dolphins show up sometimes, there's a local watch group for it. The beach itself has rock pools and sand. It's very straightforward.
In the village, you've got the basics: a Co-op, a couple of pubs that do food, a chip shop, and an ice cream place by the bandstand. It's a five-minute walk to most of that. There's a very old lifeboat station you can look at. It's quiet, but there's live music in one of the pubs sometimes.
The house itself is a standard terraced house. It has a small yard out the back with a table and chairs. Inside, there's a living room with a TV and some books, and a kitchen with a table. It's got a washing machine. Everything is included: bedding, towels, Wi-Fi. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well-equipped and kept clean.
If you drive, Morpeth is about 15 minutes away for a bigger shop and a wander. Up the coast, you've got Amble harbour, then Alnwick and its castle. South along the coast, you get to Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. Newcastle is about half an hour by car if you want a city day.
