Little Forda is a cottage in Forda, Devon. It's a 15th century barn conversion, so it's quite old. It's also Grade II listed. It sleeps five in two bedrooms. One room has a double bed, the other has a double and a single.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner, which is good when it's cold outside. The cottage has one bathroom with a shower. The stairs inside are wooden and open tread, so they're a bit steep and you can see through them.
Outside, there's about an acre of enclosed orchard garden. It's fully fenced, so it's safe for dogs and children. There's a Wendy house, a picnic table, and a barbecue. You can also get access to the fields next door if you want a longer walk on the land.
Location wise, it's in a small village near Tavistock. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. For a good walk, Lydford Gorge is about six miles away. That's where the waterfall is.
Tavistock is a few miles away for shops and cafes. Plymouth is about a 40 minute drive if you need a bigger city or the ferry to Cornwall.
For facilities, it's got pretty much what you'd expect. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing a small child. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right by the cottage.
