Barley Cottage
Barley Cottage is in Penparc, Ceredigion. It's one of a small group of stone cottages around a central courtyard. The cottage itself is detached. You get your own patio and garden area too.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The layout is open plan downstairs. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep. Something to be aware of.
There's a shared games room on site with a pool table and table tennis. There's also a kids' play area. You can use the BBQ on your patio.
It's a rural spot. Cardigan town is about a ten minute drive for shops and supermarkets. The nearest beach is Mwnt, which is managed by the National Trust. It's a beautiful cove, about five minutes in the car.
From there you can pick up the Wales Coast Path for walking. You can often see dolphins in Cardigan Bay. Boat trips run from nearby New Quay.
Facilities in the cottage include a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is right outside.
