Ty Ynys
Ty Ynys is in Gwbert, near Cardigan. It’s a new house, built in 2023. It’s detached with its own garden and parking for six cars. There’s an electric vehicle charging point.
The main thing is the view. It looks straight out to sea, across Cardigan Bay, with Cardigan Island in the middle of the picture. You can see it from most of the house. It’s really quite something.
It sleeps thirteen people. Six bedrooms and six bathrooms, so everyone can get ready without a queue. There’s a big open-plan living space on the first floor to make the most of the view. The decked balcony runs the width of it.
Outside, there’s a hot tub and a swim spa. There’s also a fire pit and a barbecue. The outside areas have CCTV.
Inside it’s all very modern and well-equipped. There’s a posh coffee machine that uses beans, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TVs. Bedding and towels are included. It has a 5 Star rating.
You can bring one dog.
The Ceredigion Coast Path is close by for walks. The Cliff Hotel and Spa and the Gwbert Hotel are a short walk away if you want a meal out or a treatment. The nearest actual beach is about seven miles. New Quay, with its harbour and boat trips, is about a twenty-five minute drive.
Cardigan town is about ten minutes away. It has a castle, shops, and places to eat. For a longer trip, you can get to the Ceredigion coast or into the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park within half an hour.
