Ffin Yr Afon is in Gwbert, just outside Cardigan. It's detached, so you get good privacy. The name means 'edge of the river', and it's right on the estuary.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. There's a 4 Star rating. The main bedroom is upstairs and it has its own balcony. The stairs are normal house stairs, not too steep. The garden is on different levels, with steps. There's a hot tub on the patio.
You can see the sea from the front of the house. It's not a direct beachfront property, but the estuary is right there. The coast path is a few minutes' walk away for proper sea views. It's very quiet.
Gwbert has a hotel with a bar and restaurant. Cardigan town is about a ten minute drive for supermarkets, shops and other places to eat. The beach at Poppit Sands is a little further, maybe fifteen minutes by car.
There's an electric vehicle charger on site. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair are all there. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed, but you need to say you're bringing it when you book.
For days out, you're close to the Pembrokeshire Coast. The National Trust has lots of coastal places nearby. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site is useful for walking maps and parking. Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort is about twenty minutes drive inland. Further into Pembrokeshire, St Davids is about forty minutes.
