Emmotland Retreat
Emmotland Retreat is on a fishing lake near North Frodingham in East Yorkshire. It's a detached cottage, single storey, so all the rooms are on the ground floor. The garden is enclosed and looks right over the lake, which is private.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One is a proper double, the other is a super king that can be made into two singles if you prefer. Both have TVs. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower, and the double bedroom also has its own bath.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, dining table and sofas at the other. It’s a good space. Everything looks out at the water. It’s a four-star place, so it’s well equipped and comfortable. It has a hot tub.
You can book fishing on the lake, it's carp fishing. The patio gets the sun.
North Frodingham has a village pub. Skipsea beach is about five minutes drive away. Hornsea, which is a bit bigger with shops and a seafront, is about ten minutes up the coast.
For walking, you're right in the Yorkshire Wolds. The Flamborough Headland coastline is good for a trip out. Market towns like Driffield and Beverley are close. York is under an hour away.
It's pet friendly, one dog is allowed. There's parking on site and WiFi is included.
