Bracken Hut is one of two huts here at Copy House. It's a shepherd's hut on a bit of a slope, so the views are good. You look out over fields towards the Yorkshire Dales.
It sleeps two, in a sofa bed. It's a proper sofa bed though, with a pocket-sprung mattress. It's all one room inside, with a small kitchen area and a shower room. There's a wood burner for heat, which you'll probably need. The hot tub is in a separate hut next to you. It's wood-fired, so someone will come and show you how to use it when you arrive.
You're on the edge of Earby. It's a quiet village. The Leeds-Liverpool Canal is about a 20 minute walk away for a flat stroll. For proper walking, you're right between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. Yorkshire Dales National Park has good maps. Weets Hill is a short drive and gives you a panoramic view. Wycoller Country Park is about 15 minutes by car, nice for a shorter walk.
Skipton is a 20 minute drive. They've got the castle and a market. Haworth for the Brontë Parsonage is about half an hour. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are just over half an hour away, but they're popular so can get busy.
Facilities wise: the hut has its own parking space. There's WiFi, but it can be slow. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The hot tub is private, just for your hut.
