The Wolfs Den

The Wolfs Den is a ground floor barn conversion in Laneshawbridge, near Colne. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-fitted.

It's all on one level. Underfloor heating keeps it warm. There's a kitchen with a dining area, and a separate lounge with an electric fire. The views from there are over the fields.

The bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite shower room. Outside the back is your own private garden with a patio. There's parking for one car.

There's a woodland walk right from the property that we put in. There's a little hut part way round you can sit in.

The local pub is a five minute walk. It serves food. For a bigger shop, Colne is about two miles away.

You're right on the edge of the Pendle countryside. Walking up Pendle Hill is the classic thing to do, the views are great. Wycoller Country Park is close, it's got old ruins and bridges. It's good for a gentle stroll.

Within about half an hour you can get to Haworth, which is the Brontë village, or to Skipton which has a castle and a market. The Trough of Bowland is also in that range if you want to drive through some very nice scenery.

Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

There's another similar property here called The Foxes Hole. You can book both together if you're a group of four.
