Chattox Cottage
Chattox Cottage is in Barrowford, Lancashire. It's a weaver's cottage built above some shops. You go in from a cobbled lane.
It sleeps four. Two good sized bedrooms upstairs, one double and one with two singles. One bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
You walk straight into the kitchen-diner. It's got a farmhouse table and a dishwasher. The lounge is behind it, with a gas fire that looks like coal.
For local things, you can just walk. There are shops, cafes, and pubs right around the corner. You don't really need the car for basics.
If you do drive, it's about 15 minutes to Skipton. That's a proper market town. Bolton Abbey Estate is about 20 minutes away, good for a walk by the river. Thornton Hall Farm is about 25 minutes, that's more for kids really.
The facilities are all there: wifi, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
