Fairfield

Fairfield is a bungalow in Barley, up in the Pendle Hill part of Lancashire. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms, and there's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The main thing about the place is the space. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level, which is handy. There's a big conservatory on the back that looks out over the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. It does slope down towards the stream at the bottom, so you'll want to keep an eye on small children there.

You're right in the village. The local pub is about 150 yards away, which is very handy. Barley itself is a nice little village, and it's got a good picnic spot right at the foot of Pendle Hill. If you're here to walk, you're sorted. You can go straight up the hill from the village, or follow the Pendle Way or the Witches trails.

The whole area is part of the Forest of Bowland. It's good walking country. Clitheroe is about eight miles away for a bigger shop or if you want to see the castle. You can get to the coast, or into the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District, in under an hour if you fancy a day trip.

For facilities, you've got parking on site, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, WiFi, and a TV. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
