Downstairs

Downstairs is in Clitheroe. It's one half of a converted property, so you've got your own front door and everything inside is yours, but there's a shared patio area out the back with one other apartment. You can park two cars on the drive, behind electric gates. There's an electric car charger too.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and all the facilities are there. It's open plan downstairs, so the kitchen, dining and living area is all one space.

The location is good. You're set back from the main road so it's quiet, but you can walk into Clitheroe town centre in about five minutes. There are shops, cafes and a few restaurants there. The local pub is a short walk away.

For getting outside, you're right on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. It's good walking and cycling country. Ribchester, with the Roman museum, is about a fifteen minute drive south. If you play golf, there's a course nearby.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: TV, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
