Melrose
Melrose is in Clitheroe, on a residential street. It's a proper terraced house, so it's tall and narrow. You'll see the front garden and the driveway from the street.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, but they're all single beds, so it's good for families or friends who don't mind sharing. Just the one shower room, and it's on the ground floor.
The house has got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's a coal fire in the front living room, which is cosy. The kitchen has what you need. The yard at the back is enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog. Speaking of which, one well-behaved dog is allowed.
Clitheroe town centre is a five-minute walk. There are shops, a few pubs that do food, and cafes. You've got everything you need there.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. It's good country. You can drive up to the Trough of Bowland in about twenty minutes. The Forest of Bowland website has maps and ideas. Pendle Hill is about a fifteen-minute drive away if you fancy that.
Further afield, you can get to the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District in under an hour if you want a big day out.
In terms of what's here: all the basics are included – bedding, towels, WiFi, parking for two cars. There's a washing machine, a cot, and a highchair if you need them.
