Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is in Sabden, at the bottom of Pendle Hill. It's a separate building in our garden, down a shared courtyard. You get your own private terrace with it. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after.
The bedroom has a skylight, so you can see the sky from the bed. The stairs down to the living room are quite steep, just so you know. The patio doors open onto the terrace.
We allow one well-behaved dog. We leave a welcome tray for you and some treats for the dog.
Sabden has two pubs within walking distance. The village is good for starting walks, including the Pendle Way. Pendle Hill is right there if you want to climb it. The views from the top are very good on a clear day.
Clitheroe is about four miles away for shops and cafes. Wycoller is nearby too, it's an old hamlet with a famous packhorse bridge. For a bigger day out, the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the coast are all about an hour's drive.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can store bikes in the shared garage. The garden is enclosed.
