Lake View
Lake View is a lodge on Pendle View Holiday Park near Barrow. It's one of two built in 2022, set around three lakes. You get a good view of Pendle Hill and the fields from the decking.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The place is open plan. It's a 4 Star lodge, so everything is new and works well. The floors can be a bit noisy, it's that kind of building.
You've got your own decking at the front and back, with furniture. There's a shed round the back that will fit a couple of bikes. The fishing rights on the lakes are included for guests, if that's your thing.
The site is quiet, set back from the A59. There's a Co-op, some takeaways, and a petrol station just over the road. Barrow and Whalley villages are a mile away for more pubs and shops. Clitheroe is two miles, with the castle and more.
For getting out, you're at the foot of Pendle Hill. The Forest of Bowland is right there for walking. Forest of Bowland has route ideas. Clitheroe Golf Club is five minutes away. You can get to the coast at Lytham St Annes in about 45 minutes. The Lake District is under an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's detached with parking. Wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
