Dewhurst Farm

Dewhurst Farm is on the edge of Langho. It's a single farmhouse, not attached to anything else. The views are over fields towards the Ribble Valley. You get the whole garden, which is a good size, and a patio with a hot tub.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms. That means every bedroom has its own shower room or bathroom, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star. It's been done up recently so everything feels new and clean.

The kitchen is big, with an island and sliding doors to the garden. The living room is through an archway from the kitchen. You can see the hills from the big windows. There's a TV and Wi-Fi.

The stairs are fine. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a small balcony. Two other bedrooms are kingsize doubles with their own shower rooms. The fourth bedroom is a standard double. It uses the family bathroom, which has a bath.

You're about ten minutes drive from Clitheroe. That's where the supermarket is, and a few pubs and restaurants. There's a Michelin-starred place nearby if that's your sort of thing. Whalley village is closer, maybe five minutes, and has a nice Abbey and a couple of wine bars.

For walking, you're right next to the Forest of Bowland. You can start straight from the door. The Ribble Way is nearby for longer walks. Cyclists use the quiet lanes around here; we have bike storage.

Further out, you can drive to the Trough of Bowland in about twenty minutes. The coast at Lytham St Anes is about forty minutes.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included, and parking for a couple of cars right outside. No pets, sorry. The hot tub is checked between each booking.
