The Stable is on the edge of our farm, just outside Wiswell. It's a detached place, converted from a stone barn. It's just for two people. You can bring one dog.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. The bathroom is en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. Everything is on one level except the bedroom, so mind your head on the beams. The stairs are wooden and a bit steep, like you'd expect.
You're right on a bridle path here. The views are over our fields. We've got sheep, so dogs need to be on a lead outside the cottage garden. There's stabling on the farm if you're bringing a horse.
For facilities, there's Wi-Fi, a TV, parking right outside, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The village pub and a shop are about two miles away in Whalley. Whalley has a few nice places to eat. There's a golf course about a mile from here that welcomes visitors.
For days out, you're in the Forest of Bowland. Good walking and cycling right from the door. Forest of Bowland has all the routes. Clitheroe is close, with its castle. For a different walk, Brockholes Nature Reserve is popular. The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are both about an hour's drive if you fancy going further.
