Holgate's Granary
Holgate's Granary is near Barrow, just outside Clitheroe. It's one of two converted barns on the same site. If you've got a big group, you can rent them both together.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The heating is underfloor, so the place is warm. The living space is all open plan.
The town of Clitheroe is about a mile away. There's a path you can walk if you want. The town is good for shops, cafes, and a few restaurants. It's a market town. You can see the castle from a lot of places.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. Pendle Hill is close by too. The Tolkien Trail starts at Stonyhurst College, which isn't far.
If you've got kids, Clitheroe Castle has a museum. Bowland Wild Boar Park is about a twenty minute drive. Blackpool is about forty-five minutes by car if you fancy a day out at the seaside.
There's a pub and a shop about a mile away. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. You can bring up to two pets. There's parking right outside.
The facilities are all here: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
