Holgate's Granary is near Barrow, just outside Clitheroe. It's a converted barn, semi-detached, with its own garden that's fully enclosed. You're in the fields here, so it's quiet.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The main living space is open plan with underfloor heating, which is good in winter.
Clitheroe is about a mile away. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and places to eat. You can walk it if you like, or it's a short drive. There's a local pub and a restaurant about half a mile away.
You're right in the Ribble Valley here, so walking and cycling is the main thing. Pendle Hill is close for a decent walk. The whole area is part of the Forest of Bowland, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For a different day out, Blackpool is under an hour's drive if you want the seaside or the Pleasure Beach.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you're bringing little ones. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right there.
If you're planning walks or days out, the Forest of Bowland website is useful, and the National Trust page for Clitheroe Castle has details too.
