Lux Cottage Clayton le Dale

Lux Cottage is in Clayton le Dale, a small place just outside Ribchester. It's a detached bungalow, so everything’s on one level. Five of them are set together down a private driveway, each with its own garden and parking spot. You get the one you book to yourselves.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both are doubles and both have their own en-suite bathroom, which is handy. The living area is open plan with a kitchen, dining space, and sitting area. It's got a Smart TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.

The rating is 5 Star. That means it’s very well finished and equipped. It’s modern and comfortable.

It’s a quiet spot, surrounded by fields. You can walk straight out from the cottage into the countryside. Ribchester is about two miles away. There’s a pub there, and the Roman museum is worth a look if that’s your thing.

For a bigger day out, you’re not far from a lot. The Forest of Bowland is right there for walking and driving through. Clitheroe has a castle and shops, about a ten minute drive. Blackburn is fifteen minutes in the other direction.

If you want to go further, you can get into the Yorkshire Dales or to the coast at Morecambe Bay within about forty-five minutes. The Ribble Valley is nice for a walk or a pub lunch. The Trough of Bowland road is a good drive.
