Lux Cottage
This is Lux Cottage. It's in Clayton le Dale, which is a small place near Ribchester. It's quiet here.

You can walk straight into the countryside from the door. Ribchester is two miles away. It's got a Roman museum and a couple of pubs. Ribchester Roman Museum is worth a look if that's your thing.
Within half an hour you can get to the Forest of Bowland. It's good walking country. Forest of Bowland has routes online. Blackburn is about fifteen minutes for bigger shops. Preston is twenty minutes. The coast at Blackpool is about forty minutes by car.
