The Birds Nest
The Bird's Nest is on the first floor of a house in Longridge. It's been done up recently so everything feels fresh. You get a private parking space round the back.
It's a one-bedroom apartment, so it's for two people. The bedroom has its own bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
The main room is the living area with the kitchen at one end. The window looks out over the fields and hills at the back. The bedroom has the same view. It's a quiet spot.
Outside, there's a small enclosed garden with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
Longridge itself is handy. You can walk to a few shops, supermarkets, and pubs. The nearest one is about five minutes away. For walking, you're right on the edge of the Ribble Valley. The Forest of Bowland is straight out the door.
It's about a 20-minute drive into Preston if you need the train station or bigger shops. The coast at Morecambe Bay is roughly half an hour away. The National Trust has a few properties nearby like Gawthorpe Hall.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's bike storage if you need it.
