These are the Samlesbury Hall huts. They're in the grounds of Samlesbury Hall itself, which is a proper historic place. It's a 14th century building, you can go and look round it.
It's glamping, so think of them as nice, sturdy sheds. There's one bedroom that sleeps four in two double beds. They're proper beds, not bunks. There's an en-suite shower room in each hut. No kitchen, but there's a restaurant on site for breakfast and lunch, and a waffle house. You get a barbecue and some outdoor furniture outside your hut.
The hall puts on events, like theatre or history talks, sometimes about the local witch trials. The grounds have things like a driving range, crazy golf, an adventure trail for kids, and beehives you can look at. It's all a bit quirky, but it's there if you want it.
Location wise, you're just off the M6 and M65, so it's easy to get to. Preston's about ten minutes away. You can be in central Manchester or Liverpool in under an hour if you want a city day. For walks, the River Darwen is close by. The Ribble Valley is a short drive north.
In terms of what's included, you get bedding and towels. There's WiFi. It's a 3 Star rating, which is standard for this type of place. No pets allowed.
