Carmichael is on the north edge of Longridge. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one floor which is handy. It's detached and you've got your own garden around the back that's enclosed. The conservatory looks out onto it.
It sleeps four in two decent sized bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, comfortable, and everything works. It's not a show home, it's a place to stay.
You're about five minutes' walk from Berry Lane. That's where the shops are. There's a Co-op, a few cafes, and a couple of pubs that do food. It's convenient.
Longridge itself is good for walking straight from the door. The fell is right there. For a longer drive, you're on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The roads and views are fantastic. Clitheroe is about twenty minutes away. The castle is worth a look.
If you want a day out, Blackpool is about forty minutes in the car. Preston is closer for bigger shops. The motorway links are good, so you can get into the Lakes or the Dales in just over an hour.
Facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, TV, WiFi included. Bedding and towels are there. There's parking for a car on the drive and a shed for bikes. No pets, I'm afraid.
