The Granary
The Granary is in Matshead, near Bilsborrow. It's a converted barn, so it's detached. The back looks out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both big doubles. They each have their own bathroom. It's a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-fitted and comfortable.
You come in on the ground floor. It's all open plan: kitchen, dining, living area. There's a wood burner. The doors open out onto the front garden. It's a quiet spot.
The village has a shop and a couple of pubs you can walk to. For other things, Barton Grange Garden Centre has a cinema and crazy golf, that's about a mile away. Garstang is a nice market town, three miles.
Blackpool is half an hour's drive if you want the lights or the beach. Lancaster is close. The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Manchester, and Liverpool are all within an hour for a day trip.
Good walking locally. The Lancaster Canal towpath is right there. Brock Valley and Beacon Fell are nearby for woodland and hill walks. Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park sites have route ideas.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, parking, WiFi. There's a cot and a stairgate if needed. No pets.
