This is Rabbit Hole. It's on the edge of Cheddar, in Somerset. It's a single storey lodge, so no stairs, and it's detached. You get a private patio that looks out over the fields.
The lodge sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms too, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean.
The main living space is open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a coffee machine that takes pods. The TV has internet access. All bedding and towels are included.
You can bring one dog. There's on-site parking right outside.
There are some shared facilities about a hundred yards away. You can get a pass for those if you want. They have a heated indoor pool, a gym, a sauna, a steam room, and a restaurant.
You’re right on the edge of the Mendip Hills here. It's good walking and cycling country straight from the door. The Cheddar Reservoir is close by for a flat walk or some birdwatching. For something more dramatic, Cheddar Gorge is about a ten minute drive. The caves are worth seeing. Wookey Hole caves are about twenty minutes away.
Within half an hour you can get to Glastonbury for the Tor and the Abbey. Wells is about twenty minutes for the Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is about thirty minutes.
There's a golf course nearby. You can also arrange horse riding or fishing locally.
