Anjou Bijou

Anjou Bijou is a single-storey annexe attached to our house in Westbury sub Mendip. It's new, built in 2023. It's just for two people. One bedroom, one en-suite shower room.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern inside. The main room is open-plan with a kitchen, dining table, and sitting area. There's an electric fire for background heat. The bed is a standard double. You park right outside your own front door.

There's no private garden. You share our driveway. But you can bring one small, well-behaved dog because there are so many walks straight from the door. The footpaths go right up into the Mendip Hills.

The village pub is a few minutes' walk away. They do good food. There's also a village shop. For a bigger shop, Wells is about ten minutes by car.

Cheddar Gorge is very close, maybe a 15 minute drive. You can walk there from here if you're keen. Wells Cathedral is worth seeing. Glastonbury is about 20 minutes away, with the Tor and its shops. Bath is further, maybe 45 minutes, but it's a full day out if you want history and architecture. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is about 40 minutes.

What's here: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and everything's included in the price. Bedding and towels are provided. We allow one small dog. There's parking.
