This is Red Robin. It's a newish lodge, detached, on the edge of Cheddar. You're in the countryside but you can walk to the village.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. One is an en suite, the other two share a Jack and Jill bathroom between them. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well put together and comfortable.
The main living space is open plan. There's a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a TV. It has underfloor heating and one of those electric fires that looks like a wood burner. Outside there's a patio with a table and chairs.
The place is on a small resort. You get the lodge to yourselves, but if you want to use the shared facilities you need to buy a pass. They're right there, less than a minute's walk. That gets you the heated indoor pool, a gym, sauna, steam room, and there's a restaurant on site too.
You're about a ten minute walk from the centre of Cheddar. The Gorge is the main thing. It's good for a walk, and you can go into the caves. Cheddar Gorge & Caves has all the details.
Wells is about twenty minutes by car. The Cathedral is worth seeing. Wells Cathedral is the site for that. Glastonbury Tor is about half an hour away. For the coast, Weston-super-Mare is forty minutes.
Facilities here: everything's included. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog.
