Pyllaubach

Pyllaubach is in Salem, Carmarthenshire. It's a detached cottage for two people. That's it, just the one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's on the nicer end of things.

Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. There's a log burner for when it's cold, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a utility room with a washer and dryer. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom. The shower is a walk-in one. The windows are big, floor to ceiling, with electric blinds. You get a good view of the fields from there.

Outside, there's a lawned garden for you. It says you can bring one dog, and there's access to a nearby orchard for them to run about in.

It's a rural spot. For a shop or a pub, you'd drive into Llandeilo, which is about four miles away. It's a nice little town with cafes and some interesting shops.

A few things nearby: Dinefwr Park and Castle is just outside Llandeilo. It's a big estate with woods and deer. Carreg Cennen Castle is about a twenty minute drive. It's up on a cliff. Aberglasney Gardens are a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. Good if you like gardens.

For walking, you're on the edge of the Fforest Fawr Geopark. There are plenty of paths. The Visit Carmarthenshire site has ideas.
