Kite Cottage
Kite Cottage is here on Maesydderwen, near Cwmifor. It's one of a few cottages converted from an old farm and inn. We live on site.
It’s a two bed cottage, sleeps four. One bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You get your own patio and garden area with a barbecue. Parking is right outside.
The main thing people like is the hot tub. It's private, out the back. You can book it for just your group if you're staying here.
You're in the Brecon Beacons National Park. You can start walks right from the cottage. Red kites fly over the fields all the time. If you want to see more, the Gigrin Farm red kite feeding station is about twenty minutes' drive.
The nearest decent shop and pub is in Llandeilo, just over three miles away. It's a nice market town with restaurants and cafes. For a bigger day out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is about eleven miles. Castles like Carreg Cennen and Dinefwr are nearby too.
If you want mountains, the Black Mountains and the western Beacons are within half an hour. You can drive to Llyn y Fan Fach. For information on walking trails and activities, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority is a good place to start.
No pets, sorry. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them.
