This is Wren Cottage. It’s in Cwmifor, Carmarthenshire. We're a few miles outside Llandeilo, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
It’s a terraced cottage on a farm that used to be an inn. We live on-site. You get two bedrooms and it sleeps three. One bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage has its own patio with a table and chairs. There’s a hot tub on the main lawn shared with some other cottages. We get a lot of birds here, goldfinches, woodpeckers, that sort of thing. You often see red kites overhead.
You can walk straight from the door into the lanes and hills. The town of Llandeilo is about ten minutes' drive. Good for shops and a few places to eat.
If you want to explore, Carreg Cennen castle is about 20 minutes away. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is maybe 25 minutes. For a longer walk, the Black Mountains or the western Beacons are within half an hour.
Inside, there’s a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We’ve got a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
