Rhandir Long House is up here on the farm in Trapp. It's a detached, old barn that's been done up. You get the views. One way looks over the valley, the other you can see Carreg Cennen Castle on the hill.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well finished. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner.
It's on a working sheep farm. So you'll see sheep in the fields, and you might hear the farmer and his dogs sometimes during the day. The garden is yours, and there's a patio.
You're in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Black Mountain is right there. You can walk straight out the door onto paths. For more planned walks, the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority site has maps.
The nearest pub is about two miles away in Trapp. Llandeilo is six miles for shops and a few more places to eat. It's a nice town to wander round. The coast is about an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's got everything you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. All bedding and towels are included. Plenty of parking right outside. No pets allowed, because of the farm.
If you're looking for things to do, Carreg Cennen Castle is the one you can see from the house. It's about a 20 minute drive. For a bigger day out, the waterfalls around Ystradfellte or Pen y Fan are within half an hour.
