Owl Cottage
Owl Cottage is on what used to be Maesydderwen Farm. It's near Cwmifor, a few miles outside Llandeilo. We live on site in the main house.
It's a 4 star cottage. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. You can bring two dogs.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden with a patio. There's a hot tub out there. You get a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
The stairs inside are typical cottage stairs. They're there, you go up them.
You can walk straight out from the cottage into the lanes and fields. Red kites are common overhead. We get woodpeckers, deer, and all sorts. There's a red kite feeding station about a 20 minute drive away if you want a guaranteed sighting.
Llandeilo is just over three miles away. It's a good little town with nice shops, cafes, and a few decent pubs. The nearest pub and shop are about three miles from here.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. For a good day out, Carreg Cennen castle is dramatic. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 11 miles. The coast is about 30 miles if you fancy a beach day.
