Stable Cottage is in the middle of Llandeilo. It's a one bedroom place, just for two. You get the whole cottage to yourselves. It used to be a stable, obviously, so the rooms are a good size but the layout is a bit unusual. The kitchen is downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom are up a flight of stairs.
It's been done up to a high standard. Everything is new and works properly. There's a washing machine, good wi-fi, and parking right outside. Towels and bedding are included. You can bring one dog.
The town is right on your doorstep. There's a shop and a couple of pubs about a hundred yards away. One of them does decent food. The town has some nice little shops, including the famous chocolate shop.
The view from the front looks out over the river and the valley. It's a good spot to sit with a coffee in the morning.
For days out, Dinefwr is just up the road. It's a National Trust place with a castle and deer in the parkland. Carreg Cennen castle is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper ruin on a cliff edge. Aberglasney Gardens are nearby too, about ten minutes by car.
If you want to walk, the Brecon Beacons are about half an hour away. The Llyn y Fan Fach walk is up there. It's a big lake in the mountains.
