Y Bwthyn is a cottage near the village of Trap in Carmarthenshire. It's one of three here on the farm, but it's detached and you get your own garden. The views from there are across the fields to the Black Mountain. You'll see red kites.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main room is open plan with a wood burner and big glass doors out to the terrace. The ceiling goes right up to the roof. It has underfloor heating.
You're in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The walking is excellent right from the door. Carreg Cennen Castle is a short drive away, it's a ruin on a cliff edge. The Dinefwr estate is about 20 minutes by car. Llandeilo is the nearest proper town for shops and places to eat.
The coast is a drive. The Gower peninsula, Pembrokeshire, they're all about an hour or so. If the weather's bad, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is under half an hour away.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
