Y Bwthyn

Y Bwthyn is a little stone cottage. It used to be a barn on Blaenllynnant Farm. We're up in the hills, near Capel Gwynfe. It's quiet here. Very quiet.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The whole place is open plan downstairs, with big windows at the gable end looking out at the garden and the Black Mountain. You'll see red kites circling most days.

There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. It gets oil central heating too, so it's warm. The kitchen's fitted with a dishwasher and a washing machine. All your bedding and towels are here.

You're on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The farm itself has miles of walking paths. Carreg Cennen Castle is only about ten minutes away by car. That's a proper ruin on a cliff edge, worth seeing. The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are within half an hour.

Llandeilo is the nearest town with shops and places to eat, about a fifteen minute drive. It's a nice little town. The coast, like the Gower or Pembrokeshire, is about an hour away.

You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside. The garden's yours. The other two cottages are separate, you won't be on top of each other.

It's easy to get to, about eight miles from the A40.
