Bramble Cottage Mountain Retreat Twynllanan

Bramble Cottage is up on the Black Mountain in Twynllanan. It's a converted cow barn on our small working farm. We live across the yard. It's detached and you'll have the place to yourselves.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is modern inside, with underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom. There's limestone flooring and some exposed stone walls.

The French doors open onto a patio. The garden is enclosed, but there's an unfenced stream running through it. Just so you know.

You're in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Footpaths start from the farm gate directly onto the Black Mountain. The famous Llyn y Fan lake is a good walk from here, or a short drive.

Llandeilo is about half an hour's drive. It's a nice town with cafes and shops. The Red Kite Feeding Centre is in Llanddeusant, just down the road.

Because it's a Dark Sky Reserve, the stars are very clear here on a good night.

Facilities: There's parking, a fully enclosed garden, BBQ, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs. We also offer a laundry service, and breakfast or evening meals can be arranged for an extra charge if you want.

The nearest shop and pub are about six miles away in Llanddeusant.
