Sherrifs Lodge
This is Sheriff's Lodge. It's in Sardis, Carmarthenshire. One of a pair of cottages around a cobbled courtyard. It's on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, so the views are good. It's quiet and rural.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The patio and garden are enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. We take up to two.
You're about three miles from Llangadog village. It's got a couple of pubs that do food. Llandovery is the same distance the other way, that's a bit bigger with shops. Llandeilo is about nine miles, that's nice for a wander and has some interesting shops.
You're well placed for the Brecon Beacons. Good walking and cycling from the door. The Red Kite Feeding Centre at Gigrin Farm is nearby, you see a lot of them around here. Fishing is local if that's your thing.
Further out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are worth a trip. Both are within about half an hour.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. WiFi is included. There's parking, bike storage, and we provide bedding and towels. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
